In Politico today (2/16/17), there are ads by the American Heart Association, AARP and the National Pork Producers Council, among others. And this is just the tip of the advertising iceberg. Just tune into Morning Joe or Meet the Press and watch bigger budget players. Or listen to WTOP during your morning commute.

Smith & Harroff developed and recently launched an advertising campaign for the Nuclear Energy Institute to emphasize that with nuclear energy, we can have both reliable power and clean air. The principal goal of the campaign is to inform opinion leaders and policy makers that new technologies are changing the way nuclear energy is being used to generate electricity. The ads feature Leslie Dewan, CEO of Transatomic Power, an entrepreneur who is developing cutting-edge technology that uses spent nuclear fuel to generate electricity.
